HOW TO PLAY

1. Switch: short press start (vibration 1 loosening), long press 4 seconds to shut down (vibration 5 times).

2. Switching light mode: after boot, short press switch light effect (vibration 1 loosening), then cycle.

3. Volume high school low switch: after boot, press 3.5 seconds to loosen (vibrate 4 times), switch the voice loud, medium and small in turn.

4. Light and color switch: after boot, press 3 seconds to loosen (vibrate 3 times) to switch color.

5. Brightness efficiency switching: full brightness mode, high and low brightness efficiency switching.

6. Sound effect: 3 sets of sound effects, each set: the sound effect of the switch machine, the sound effect of the standby, the sound effect of the swing, the sound effect of switching the light effect mode, the swords effect, the switching sound effect of the sword light effect, the sound effect of the sound-effect, the sound effect of the mute, the sound effect of the low power, the sound effect of the charge.

7. 3 sets of sound effects switching: in the shutdown state, the long press 2 seconds to release (vibration 2 times), in turn to switch sound effects.

8. Mute function: in shutdown state, press 3 seconds (3 times), turn on or close mute.

    The saber is really nice looking has decent sound, great bright light colors, and good size for adults/older children. Great customer service I was having a problem getting the saber to charge and turn on when it arrived. But after messaging back and forth with customer service we figured out the battery had been knocked loose from the connector during shipping. Now that I have the battery pushed all the way down in the compartment it works like a dream and is a great saber for the price.

    It’s a little bit complicated to use especially for kids and trying to change the colors of the Lightsaber and some of the functions but once you get that done it’s is a great product

    Got this for my 9 year old great grandson for a Christmas gift. He has had so much fun playing with these. Even I have played some games with him because he has 2 so one is for sharing. His imagination when we play with these is great. What stories he comes up with. So much fun!

    So my son is 14 years old and he has been wanting a good quality lightsaber for a long time now but we could not find any that seemed to be good quality, durable and affordable! These lightsabers match all of those specifications. There are plenty of colors to choose from a mode where it flashes, a mode where it is completely silent it is the ultimate lightsaber product. Affordability you get two lightsabers for the price of one quality saber on other websites!! My son has been practicing lots of tricks and techniques with his lightsabers now and they have fallen out of his hands on solid concrete and they have been barely scratched!! Quick story: we got our lightsabers and one of the buttons was broken and we had gotten them on cyber monday for half off so we sent the lightsabers back for FREE and got new ones back shortly later. Overall these lightsabers are a must have for all ages for fighting for costumes and for everything a lightsaber would be used for 10/10!!! WOULD RECOMEND!!!

    The main part of the saber is actually pretty clean and cool looking. Its heavy and feels good in the hand. The light mech is ok. The audio is like a 6/10. Overall decent enough for an enthusiast but definitely not a collectors piece.

    .... very thin an very very light ..... sound is questionable .... staff connection is awesome ..... over all well put together ..... battery life last a long while ..... great for kidsalrighty now ill rant a bit .... got these for my self as ''Dueling sabers'' thinking they would be some what close to a ultra sabers ( for those who know ) an its honestly SO MUCH THINNER then that .... its all put together pretty well but i wouldnt trust it as much for '' heavy dueling '' ..... if your putting on padding or gloves to spar then its prolly to much for these if your just messing about with the kids or you a light fencing with a buddy or swinging it around in your living room being nerdy and awesome then its pretty dope the fact theses two that can staff with a very solid double male connector AND can change colors AND is recharge able AND has sound AND has flash on clash ..... ive seen other saber dealers charge up wards of 300$ for just the basic options to get those things added in ..... THAT SAID they are pretty much 100$ each an your gonna get what you pay for ... colors are a little dim unless low light or darker .... sound is noticeably louder in one vs its companion .... the color orange is more of a dark yellow an purples an pinks are kinda dim but this is true for any saber because of using dif colored LED's mixed in the blade .....

    This is a very impressive lightsaber and makes everyone I've show it too Ooo and Ahh, The sound is very great and very responsive. The Flash on Clash is not sensitive enough and the blade retention screws come loose very easily, I fixed that with some Teflon tape, but be advised your cats will be amused when the blade insert flies across the room, you will not be if it hits something valuable/expensive to replace. Overall a great addition to any fan's collection or costume.

    What can I say but a little ashamed yet delighted, being the grown man who deceived his SO about acquiring this awesome light saber for a kid in our extended family, but now hankering for reasons to keep it for himself… 😉Maybe I can claim that it’s a form of therapy, or meditation, as I watch its blade cycles through the 19 different beautifully glowing colors, and miming the techno sounds as I swing it from side to side holding its premium metallic base on my relaxed finger tips, in perfect balance with the long light blade swinging gently through the space & times of Star Wars...Yup, let me meditate some more here in the dark, and when I’m cured of whatever ails me, will get back to you on what happens with my dear SO… (and the poor kid who is not going to get this light saber!)

    I've been a Star Wars fans for decades. I decided I needed a good lightsaber for costumes and play with my sons. The lightsaber looks great and has awesome sound effects. The problems come from setup and color selection. First, be warned, tiny, easily lost screws, are needed to keep the white plastic blade connected to the handle. the blade stays in sturdy enough, but I imagine losing those small screws (three needed, with three replacements included) would eliminate the play aspect quickly, especially if it is a gift for younger children

    This is my first dueling light saber, so this is a novice’s review. I don’t have any other saber to compare it with except the cheap ones you could buy at Walmart that extend from the hilt. I think it’s really cool for the price. It’s bright, it feels sturdy, and I think it sounds pretty good. I know there are better sounding sabers out there as well as brighter ones (neopixel). But this base lit one is designed very well. I look forward to honing my lightsaber skills with this saber.

    I only have a few sabers but this is my best and favorite one. The weight feels great, the smooth swing is truly sensitive, the colors are bright and vibrant. There are a couple of issues but, to me, aren’t enough to take away a star. It’s not really user-friendly, at first, but practicing makes it easier. The other issue is, the fonts aren’t necessarily clear to decipher who the font is meant to be. Two in particular have names or lines that don’t sound familiar at all. One says something, “Red,” and the other sounds like it says, “The Butcher.”

    I’m really impressed with the quality that has been put into these midrange sabers. They are a fantastic value for the money, and work every time exactly as they should. My son and I had a short duel today but it was very intense and a crapload of fun! You don’t want to swing it like a baseball, obviously, but moderate dueling doesn’t seem to bother these sabers at all. If I’m not mistake, you can actually make your saber unique by ordering parts. Highly recommend for beginner to mid range dueling.

    For the price this is one of the best go to for a lightsaber. The hilt is beautiful, the lighting is great as well as the sounds. The blade holds up great and the hilt is very firm and the weight is distributed greatly. The overall assembly is simple and well designed.

    As with the other review, this works fine and it's priced low enough to use in mock combat. It's well made and lighter than the "pro" models. I could buy at least 4 of these for the price we paid for a single pro model at a local store.

    This lightsaber is sized more for children, it's a bit smaller, but it still works great and looks super cool. It makes noise and lights up different colors. It has a bunch of customization options that are nice so you can get the desired look and specifications you like. I have used several different types of lightsabers, and this one is more middle of the pack in terms of sound quality and light definition. But overall, it's still a good product for it's price point.

    So I bought this item on sale for $135, they are regularly $350, I figured I couldn't lose at $135, if its not so great, then it wasn't much money spent, if the kids break it, its not the end of the world. I bought one for my 7 year old & one for my 9 year old, who are very much into Star Wars right now, they were for Xmas. I received them in the mail and immediately brought them behind closed doors to inspect them with my wife, to my surprise these things are frickin' sweet, the build is solid, they materials are sturdy and the item is built with quality, the color selections and sounds are plenty enough to keep the novice Star Wars fan busy and entertained and then to our surprise we accidentally found out that if you triple press the power button the light inside flashes / flicker rapidly creating and effect like Kylo Ren's saber in the newer movies, which is really cool and it has a sound that goes with that effect too. Anyways, to make a long story short (I could go on all day about these), my wife & I both thought they were so neat that we bought a 3rd one for my 15 year old, thinking of it more as a keepsake than a toy (you know how teenagers are, he doesn't play with toys. . . ), he loved it, played with his little bothers a few times and he keeps it in his room as a decoration. If you find it on sale that's awesome, had I known how I would have felt about these, I wouldn't have even questioned the regular $350 price tag, great buy! I couldn't recommend enough.

    This is my first lightsaber and I am amazed at the quality. Super easy to charge via USB C and to assemble. The only con is the instructions to switch modes could be done a bit clearer. Definitely recommend though.

    While the non-bubblestrip cards are a little bit flimsier than I'd like, they do look good & function prettty well.The one left of the bubble-strip in particular looks really dang good; 4/5, would buy again.

    This light saber is awesome and so much fun to play with. My favorite part is the vibrant and stunning colors. There's so many! The sound effects are pretty cool, but sound a little off. The base is metal and feels great. The saber part is plastic, but the lights look intense and mesmerizing! This is a really cool, fun product.

    So, I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and I was extremely impressed with the quality; however, when I went to plug it in, I found it wouldn’t charge. Several attempts with the jack and the charge cable didn’t work, so I emailed toyschoose directly. They reached out the very next day and after I sent them a brief video showing the problem, they identified the issue and sent out a replacement part. That part arrived about a week later, extremely well packed, and after I installed it, I was simply astonished at how amazing this saber is. It’s gorgeous, well-balanced, with a durable blade. With all its features, it’s as much fun to learn as it is to own. My wife LOVES it. So do I.Unbelievable product.Helpful people.A great company to deal with.Can’t wait to get one of my own.

    So at the moment I am 3 of out 5 stars. Will update a bit as I own this saber8-24-23 arrived and charging.1. The Type C charging port is very picky about which type C cord will work. I DID NOT use the short cord provided. I have 3 type C chargers for phones etc. 2 of the 3 did not work. 1 when I plugged it in the Saber announced "Charging"2. The craftsmanship is pretty nice. But the edges and gooves could have been deburred better. I am a CNC machinist I have a feel for acceptable and unacceptable finishes on parts. Even for a budget saber the edges and grooves could have had a better radius.Once charged I will make an update on functions.Honestly I thought the battery was defective due to my issues with the type C charger. Just know when you plug it in to charge, the Saber will announce it is charging.This Luke Skywalker hilt has no visible LED either. And the short Type C charging cord is a cable only no wall plug in is included. So mind that.8-25-23 updated from 3 out of 5 to 4 out of 5 stars.The controls are a bit finicky but the Saber works. Just have to spend time getting use to the controls.It is a cheaper alternative to high cost sabers on the market. But it does work. I will update again if itstops working within a time frame I feel is unreasonable.

    I got this light saber for 150 dollars and it is great! The hilt looks amazing and it lights up very well. The only problem I have with it is when I charged it, it wasn’t working. Then I found out that I had to put the charger in the dead center of the charging hole to make it charge. Other than that this light saber is great!

    I like that the bottom has cutouts for the speaker to project the sound effects clearly; The saber is definitely loud when set to the high volume setting and I appreciate that it can be muted. The instructions are not too difficult to follow along; I recommend keeping an eye on the blue LED ring and see how many times it flashes/blinks.I was surprised that the charging port is hidden with the hilt; It was not hard to open up and insert the USB-C end of the power cable. I understand that having the charging port hidden within protects it from debris and dirt from accumulating inside while handling.As for the plastic blade, I appreciate the shorter length as it's more portable and easy to pack away; The illumination and colour is pretty good under darker lighting conditions. Even though only two small bolts are required to hold the blade in, I appreciate that extra bolts are included.I love the black metal anodizing of the hilt and I did not see any issues with the exterior finish.

    I was going to do a video, but other reviewers already have that covered with good showcasing. This is a great lightsaber considering the price. Are there better ones out there? Absolutely, but those can go upwards of $500.00 and you probably wouldn't want to risk damaging one that is that expensive at a convention. You still get a good amount of features with this lightsaber. Great color options and the sound is surprisingly clear and accurate. You can also change between many different customization options as well and the hilt is strong.My two complaints is how confusing it is to actually switch between colors, sounds and effects at first. There are so many button presses and twisting motion combinations to go between settings, that it can be overwhelming. Also, sometimes it switches options without you even trying to. Also, the charging port is underneath the power button and the cover must be removed. I get for aesthetics they wanted to hide the port, but it's kind of a pain to have to keep doing that to charge it. I feel like they could have had just a latch or something covering it and it still would have looked good.Overall, this is a good budget lightsaber. It has a few flaws, but I'm still happy with it.

    Tried to get some video but the camera doesn't get how vivid the colors really are. They are pretty cool. They have multiple colors and sounds.I think they should be a like longer but my husband loves them.

    This is such a cool toy to have a lightsaber like this is perfect for Halloween that is upcoming. We are pumped to be able to dress up and use the lightsaber as we're walking down the sidewalk. It makes noises and it lights up in a variety of different colors so you can find whatever mood you want to match. It's so easy to set up and use it's a great toy.

    I was looking for something Star Wars for my son's Birthday, and I saw the JvmuSaber Lightsaber on amazon.My son is 12y old, and he loves Light Sabers. I purchased the JvmuSaber Lightsaber, and boy was that a good choice.My son loves the JvmuSaber Lightsaber. The quality of the Saber is impressive, the black handle is heavy and sturdy, and it gives an incredible illusion when playing in the dark. The light Saber is longer than others available online, and the light quality is extraordinarily bright and consistent. It comes with a handle adapter that you can screw into the bottom of the handle and connect both Sabers. It is very easy to change sound and colors. The dual charger cable that comes with it makes charging more practical. The speakers are loud, and the sound quality is clear, especially when simulating a fight. The price is much better than the other ones available, and overall I would rate the JvmuSaber Lightsaber 5 out of 5 stars. My other son, who is 6y old, also plays with the Saber and loves it too. I am super happy with the purchase, and I rate this product 5 out of 5 all day! I highly recommend this product.

    My son and I had so much fun with these right out of the box (minor assembly required). Surprisingly durable. Setting up the color and sound is a little difficult but they come with very clear instructions. I wish they were a little quicker to respond as far as hits go and you have to press the button to make them lock up to hold them together continuously. Nevertheless they really are a lot of fun.

    Nice piece, I'm happy.Not real sure I like how you have to charge it, little inconvenient. Young people get help from parents until you know how charge so you don't mess up any of the electronics.. as the main board will be exposed during charge.

    The saber is beautiful. Sound is pretty loud at its max, which is a plus. Smooth swing is accurate. Brightness beats Legacy sabers. Bluetooth capabilityI won’t be dueling with it so I can’t review it’s blade durability.Con: because of the replica control box, you have to rely on timing to get proper function options.

    A good quality light saber was on top of my sons wish list and he really loves these. He has had a blast with these, but unfortunately one stopped working. I contacted the company with the problem and I am happy to say they will be sending a replacement. It is great to see a company stand behind their product!

    Given the price point, realize this is a well-made prop. If you’re a diehard Star Wars fan or into serious cosplay, you’ll definitely want to add this prop to your Star Wars gear. It’s definitely fun to bring out and show friends – everyone will want to grab it and take a swing. Or for a stage production, this is an amazing prop.However, I don’t really recommend this for a Halloween costume – except maybe for trick-or-treating. At a party, you will definitely be hitting people in the back of their heads with this – it’s 40 inches long. Try grabbing a yardstick, add 4 inches, and then just try to playfully swing this around at a party without hitting someone or something. You’ll likely end up quickly abandoning this in some corner at the party and then forget to grab it when you leave (and it will then have somehow “magically disappeared” when you call the next day to try to retrieve it!). This is not a “toy” you will want to lose.Same thoughts with regard to considering it as a kid’s gift. It would be an expensive “toy” to bang about the house – not only in terms of damaging the lightsaber, but everything it hits! But for a more mature kid who values and takes care of expensive items, this would be an amazing gift for a Star Wars fan.My only complaint about this lightsaber is that is has only one button. That button controls EVERY option with the lightsaber, from deep sleep mode, to on/off, to sound volume, to mute, to changing sound effects, to changing colors, to activating the blaster sound, and to entering “lockup” mode (i.e., when you’re locked with another lightsaber). This is all accomplished by holding down the button for various seconds (from 1 second, to 2 seconds, to 4 seconds, to 8 seconds). And that means you need to watch the control button as you hold it down while the blue light flashes for each second, so you’ll know when to lift your finger for the mode or control option you want.First, this requires that you spend some time playing with the control button to understand (and memorize) how to activate (and exit) all the functions. Second, this also makes it rather cumbersome to change options on the fly. “Oh, time out. I need to wait for two flashes to enter the color change mode, then cycle though 11 colors to find the new one I want, and then wait another second to exit the color change mode. OK – now I’m ready to play again with my new color.” Kinda ruins the moment. And third, even if you choose all the options you want beforehand, it’s easy to accidentally “overpress” the control button. For example, you use that button to repeatedly activate the blaster sound. But a heavy finger might accidentally put the lightsaber into one of the other control modes, and then it’s quiz time: do you remember how to get out of that mode? Can be a bit frustrating. Definitely, you’ll want to play quite a bit with this lightsaber before unveiling your new sabering skills, so that using the control button will be second nature.Watch the video for a quick demo of the lightsaber in action, including the blaster sound, the lockup mode, and a cycling through of the 11 colors. It does not, however, show all the various sound effects available.

    I got this saber listed on sale. For the price I paid I am generally pleased. The hilt is attractive enough for a budget saber. All the advertised features are there. Overall, not bad.

1. Switch: short press start (vibration 1 loosening), long press 4 seconds to shut down (vibration 5 times).

2. Switching light mode: after boot, short press switch light effect (vibration 1 loosening), then cycle.

3. Volume high school low switch: after boot, press 3.5 seconds to loosen (vibrate 4 times), switch the voice loud, medium and small in turn.

4. Light and color switch: after boot, press 3 seconds to loosen (vibrate 3 times) to switch color.

5. Brightness efficiency switching: full brightness mode, high and low brightness efficiency switching.

6. Sound effect: 3 sets of sound effects, each set: the sound effect of the switch machine, the sound effect of the standby, the sound effect of the swing, the sound effect of switching the light effect mode, the swords effect, the switching sound effect of the sword light effect, the sound effect of the sound-effect, the sound effect of the mute, the sound effect of the low power, the sound effect of the charge.

    The saber is really nice looking has decent sound, great bright light colors, and good size for adults/older children. Great customer service I was having a problem getting the saber to charge and turn on when it arrived. But after messaging back and forth with customer service we figured out the battery had been knocked loose from the connector during shipping. Now that I have the battery pushed all the way down in the compartment it works like a dream and is a great saber for the price.

    It’s a little bit complicated to use especially for kids and trying to change the colors of the Lightsaber and some of the functions but once you get that done it’s is a great product

    So my son is 14 years old and he has been wanting a good quality lightsaber for a long time now but we could not find any that seemed to be good quality, durable and affordable! These lightsabers match all of those specifications. There are plenty of colors to choose from a mode where it flashes, a mode where it is completely silent it is the ultimate lightsaber product. Affordability you get two lightsabers for the price of one quality saber on other websites!! My son has been practicing lots of tricks and techniques with his lightsabers now and they have fallen out of his hands on solid concrete and they have been barely scratched!! Quick story: we got our lightsabers and one of the buttons was broken and we had gotten them on cyber monday for half off so we sent the lightsabers back for FREE and got new ones back shortly later. Overall these lightsabers are a must have for all ages for fighting for costumes and for everything a lightsaber would be used for 10/10!!! WOULD RECOMEND!!!

    The main part of the saber is actually pretty clean and cool looking. Its heavy and feels good in the hand. The light mech is ok. The audio is like a 6/10. Overall decent enough for an enthusiast but definitely not a collectors piece.

    .... very thin an very very light ..... sound is questionable .... staff connection is awesome ..... over all well put together ..... battery life last a long while ..... great for kidsalrighty now ill rant a bit .... got these for my self as ''Dueling sabers'' thinking they would be some what close to a ultra sabers ( for those who know ) an its honestly SO MUCH THINNER then that .... its all put together pretty well but i wouldnt trust it as much for '' heavy dueling '' ..... if your putting on padding or gloves to spar then its prolly to much for these if your just messing about with the kids or you a light fencing with a buddy or swinging it around in your living room being nerdy and awesome then its pretty dope the fact theses two that can staff with a very solid double male connector AND can change colors AND is recharge able AND has sound AND has flash on clash ..... ive seen other saber dealers charge up wards of 300$ for just the basic options to get those things added in ..... THAT SAID they are pretty much 100$ each an your gonna get what you pay for ... colors are a little dim unless low light or darker .... sound is noticeably louder in one vs its companion .... the color orange is more of a dark yellow an purples an pinks are kinda dim but this is true for any saber because of using dif colored LED's mixed in the blade .....

    This is a very impressive lightsaber and makes everyone I've show it too Ooo and Ahh, The sound is very great and very responsive. The Flash on Clash is not sensitive enough and the blade retention screws come loose very easily, I fixed that with some Teflon tape, but be advised your cats will be amused when the blade insert flies across the room, you will not be if it hits something valuable/expensive to replace. Overall a great addition to any fan's collection or costume.

    What can I say but a little ashamed yet delighted, being the grown man who deceived his SO about acquiring this awesome light saber for a kid in our extended family, but now hankering for reasons to keep it for himself… 😉Maybe I can claim that it’s a form of therapy, or meditation, as I watch its blade cycles through the 19 different beautifully glowing colors, and miming the techno sounds as I swing it from side to side holding its premium metallic base on my relaxed finger tips, in perfect balance with the long light blade swinging gently through the space & times of Star Wars...Yup, let me meditate some more here in the dark, and when I’m cured of whatever ails me, will get back to you on what happens with my dear SO… (and the poor kid who is not going to get this light saber!)

    I've been a Star Wars fans for decades. I decided I needed a good lightsaber for costumes and play with my sons. The lightsaber looks great and has awesome sound effects. The problems come from setup and color selection. First, be warned, tiny, easily lost screws, are needed to keep the white plastic blade connected to the handle. the blade stays in sturdy enough, but I imagine losing those small screws (three needed, with three replacements included) would eliminate the play aspect quickly, especially if it is a gift for younger children

    This is my first dueling light saber, so this is a novice’s review. I don’t have any other saber to compare it with except the cheap ones you could buy at Walmart that extend from the hilt. I think it’s really cool for the price. It’s bright, it feels sturdy, and I think it sounds pretty good. I know there are better sounding sabers out there as well as brighter ones (neopixel). But this base lit one is designed very well. I look forward to honing my lightsaber skills with this saber.

    I only have a few sabers but this is my best and favorite one. The weight feels great, the smooth swing is truly sensitive, the colors are bright and vibrant. There are a couple of issues but, to me, aren’t enough to take away a star. It’s not really user-friendly, at first, but practicing makes it easier. The other issue is, the fonts aren’t necessarily clear to decipher who the font is meant to be. Two in particular have names or lines that don’t sound familiar at all. One says something, “Red,” and the other sounds like it says, “The Butcher.”

    I’m really impressed with the quality that has been put into these midrange sabers. They are a fantastic value for the money, and work every time exactly as they should. My son and I had a short duel today but it was very intense and a crapload of fun! You don’t want to swing it like a baseball, obviously, but moderate dueling doesn’t seem to bother these sabers at all. If I’m not mistake, you can actually make your saber unique by ordering parts. Highly recommend for beginner to mid range dueling.

    For the price this is one of the best go to for a lightsaber. The hilt is beautiful, the lighting is great as well as the sounds. The blade holds up great and the hilt is very firm and the weight is distributed greatly. The overall assembly is simple and well designed.

    As with the other review, this works fine and it's priced low enough to use in mock combat. It's well made and lighter than the "pro" models. I could buy at least 4 of these for the price we paid for a single pro model at a local store.

    This lightsaber is sized more for children, it's a bit smaller, but it still works great and looks super cool. It makes noise and lights up different colors. It has a bunch of customization options that are nice so you can get the desired look and specifications you like. I have used several different types of lightsabers, and this one is more middle of the pack in terms of sound quality and light definition. But overall, it's still a good product for it's price point.

    So I bought this item on sale for $135, they are regularly $350, I figured I couldn't lose at $135, if its not so great, then it wasn't much money spent, if the kids break it, its not the end of the world. I bought one for my 7 year old & one for my 9 year old, who are very much into Star Wars right now, they were for Xmas. I received them in the mail and immediately brought them behind closed doors to inspect them with my wife, to my surprise these things are frickin' sweet, the build is solid, they materials are sturdy and the item is built with quality, the color selections and sounds are plenty enough to keep the novice Star Wars fan busy and entertained and then to our surprise we accidentally found out that if you triple press the power button the light inside flashes / flicker rapidly creating and effect like Kylo Ren's saber in the newer movies, which is really cool and it has a sound that goes with that effect too. Anyways, to make a long story short (I could go on all day about these), my wife & I both thought they were so neat that we bought a 3rd one for my 15 year old, thinking of it more as a keepsake than a toy (you know how teenagers are, he doesn't play with toys. . . ), he loved it, played with his little bothers a few times and he keeps it in his room as a decoration. If you find it on sale that's awesome, had I known how I would have felt about these, I wouldn't have even questioned the regular $350 price tag, great buy! I couldn't recommend enough.

    This is my first lightsaber and I am amazed at the quality. Super easy to charge via USB C and to assemble. The only con is the instructions to switch modes could be done a bit clearer. Definitely recommend though.

    While the non-bubblestrip cards are a little bit flimsier than I'd like, they do look good & function prettty well.The one left of the bubble-strip in particular looks really dang good; 4/5, would buy again.

    This light saber is awesome and so much fun to play with. My favorite part is the vibrant and stunning colors. There's so many! The sound effects are pretty cool, but sound a little off. The base is metal and feels great. The saber part is plastic, but the lights look intense and mesmerizing! This is a really cool, fun product.

    So, I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and I was extremely impressed with the quality; however, when I went to plug it in, I found it wouldn’t charge. Several attempts with the jack and the charge cable didn’t work, so I emailed toyschoose directly. They reached out the very next day and after I sent them a brief video showing the problem, they identified the issue and sent out a replacement part. That part arrived about a week later, extremely well packed, and after I installed it, I was simply astonished at how amazing this saber is. It’s gorgeous, well-balanced, with a durable blade. With all its features, it’s as much fun to learn as it is to own. My wife LOVES it. So do I.Unbelievable product.Helpful people.A great company to deal with.Can’t wait to get one of my own.

    So at the moment I am 3 of out 5 stars. Will update a bit as I own this saber8-24-23 arrived and charging.1. The Type C charging port is very picky about which type C cord will work. I DID NOT use the short cord provided. I have 3 type C chargers for phones etc. 2 of the 3 did not work. 1 when I plugged it in the Saber announced "Charging"2. The craftsmanship is pretty nice. But the edges and gooves could have been deburred better. I am a CNC machinist I have a feel for acceptable and unacceptable finishes on parts. Even for a budget saber the edges and grooves could have had a better radius.Once charged I will make an update on functions.Honestly I thought the battery was defective due to my issues with the type C charger. Just know when you plug it in to charge, the Saber will announce it is charging.This Luke Skywalker hilt has no visible LED either. And the short Type C charging cord is a cable only no wall plug in is included. So mind that.8-25-23 updated from 3 out of 5 to 4 out of 5 stars.The controls are a bit finicky but the Saber works. Just have to spend time getting use to the controls.It is a cheaper alternative to high cost sabers on the market. But it does work. I will update again if itstops working within a time frame I feel is unreasonable.

    I got this light saber for 150 dollars and it is great! The hilt looks amazing and it lights up very well. The only problem I have with it is when I charged it, it wasn’t working. Then I found out that I had to put the charger in the dead center of the charging hole to make it charge. Other than that this light saber is great!

    I like that the bottom has cutouts for the speaker to project the sound effects clearly; The saber is definitely loud when set to the high volume setting and I appreciate that it can be muted. The instructions are not too difficult to follow along; I recommend keeping an eye on the blue LED ring and see how many times it flashes/blinks.I was surprised that the charging port is hidden with the hilt; It was not hard to open up and insert the USB-C end of the power cable. I understand that having the charging port hidden within protects it from debris and dirt from accumulating inside while handling.As for the plastic blade, I appreciate the shorter length as it's more portable and easy to pack away; The illumination and colour is pretty good under darker lighting conditions. Even though only two small bolts are required to hold the blade in, I appreciate that extra bolts are included.I love the black metal anodizing of the hilt and I did not see any issues with the exterior finish.

    I was going to do a video, but other reviewers already have that covered with good showcasing. This is a great lightsaber considering the price. Are there better ones out there? Absolutely, but those can go upwards of $500.00 and you probably wouldn't want to risk damaging one that is that expensive at a convention. You still get a good amount of features with this lightsaber. Great color options and the sound is surprisingly clear and accurate. You can also change between many different customization options as well and the hilt is strong.My two complaints is how confusing it is to actually switch between colors, sounds and effects at first. There are so many button presses and twisting motion combinations to go between settings, that it can be overwhelming. Also, sometimes it switches options without you even trying to. Also, the charging port is underneath the power button and the cover must be removed. I get for aesthetics they wanted to hide the port, but it's kind of a pain to have to keep doing that to charge it. I feel like they could have had just a latch or something covering it and it still would have looked good.Overall, this is a good budget lightsaber. It has a few flaws, but I'm still happy with it.

    This is such a cool toy to have a lightsaber like this is perfect for Halloween that is upcoming. We are pumped to be able to dress up and use the lightsaber as we're walking down the sidewalk. It makes noises and it lights up in a variety of different colors so you can find whatever mood you want to match. It's so easy to set up and use it's a great toy.

    I was looking for something Star Wars for my son's Birthday, and I saw the JvmuSaber Lightsaber on amazon.My son is 12y old, and he loves Light Sabers. I purchased the JvmuSaber Lightsaber, and boy was that a good choice.My son loves the JvmuSaber Lightsaber. The quality of the Saber is impressive, the black handle is heavy and sturdy, and it gives an incredible illusion when playing in the dark. The light Saber is longer than others available online, and the light quality is extraordinarily bright and consistent. It comes with a handle adapter that you can screw into the bottom of the handle and connect both Sabers. It is very easy to change sound and colors. The dual charger cable that comes with it makes charging more practical. The speakers are loud, and the sound quality is clear, especially when simulating a fight. The price is much better than the other ones available, and overall I would rate the JvmuSaber Lightsaber 5 out of 5 stars. My other son, who is 6y old, also plays with the Saber and loves it too. I am super happy with the purchase, and I rate this product 5 out of 5 all day! I highly recommend this product.

    My son and I had so much fun with these right out of the box (minor assembly required). Surprisingly durable. Setting up the color and sound is a little difficult but they come with very clear instructions. I wish they were a little quicker to respond as far as hits go and you have to press the button to make them lock up to hold them together continuously. Nevertheless they really are a lot of fun.

    Nice piece, I'm happy.Not real sure I like how you have to charge it, little inconvenient. Young people get help from parents until you know how charge so you don't mess up any of the electronics.. as the main board will be exposed during charge.

    The saber is beautiful. Sound is pretty loud at its max, which is a plus. Smooth swing is accurate. Brightness beats Legacy sabers. Bluetooth capabilityI won’t be dueling with it so I can’t review it’s blade durability.Con: because of the replica control box, you have to rely on timing to get proper function options.

    Given the price point, realize this is a well-made prop. If you’re a diehard Star Wars fan or into serious cosplay, you’ll definitely want to add this prop to your Star Wars gear. It’s definitely fun to bring out and show friends – everyone will want to grab it and take a swing. Or for a stage production, this is an amazing prop.However, I don’t really recommend this for a Halloween costume – except maybe for trick-or-treating. At a party, you will definitely be hitting people in the back of their heads with this – it’s 40 inches long. Try grabbing a yardstick, add 4 inches, and then just try to playfully swing this around at a party without hitting someone or something. You’ll likely end up quickly abandoning this in some corner at the party and then forget to grab it when you leave (and it will then have somehow “magically disappeared” when you call the next day to try to retrieve it!). This is not a “toy” you will want to lose.Same thoughts with regard to considering it as a kid’s gift. It would be an expensive “toy” to bang about the house – not only in terms of damaging the lightsaber, but everything it hits! But for a more mature kid who values and takes care of expensive items, this would be an amazing gift for a Star Wars fan.My only complaint about this lightsaber is that is has only one button. That button controls EVERY option with the lightsaber, from deep sleep mode, to on/off, to sound volume, to mute, to changing sound effects, to changing colors, to activating the blaster sound, and to entering “lockup” mode (i.e., when you’re locked with another lightsaber). This is all accomplished by holding down the button for various seconds (from 1 second, to 2 seconds, to 4 seconds, to 8 seconds). And that means you need to watch the control button as you hold it down while the blue light flashes for each second, so you’ll know when to lift your finger for the mode or control option you want.First, this requires that you spend some time playing with the control button to understand (and memorize) how to activate (and exit) all the functions. Second, this also makes it rather cumbersome to change options on the fly. “Oh, time out. I need to wait for two flashes to enter the color change mode, then cycle though 11 colors to find the new one I want, and then wait another second to exit the color change mode. OK – now I’m ready to play again with my new color.” Kinda ruins the moment. And third, even if you choose all the options you want beforehand, it’s easy to accidentally “overpress” the control button. For example, you use that button to repeatedly activate the blaster sound. But a heavy finger might accidentally put the lightsaber into one of the other control modes, and then it’s quiz time: do you remember how to get out of that mode? Can be a bit frustrating. Definitely, you’ll want to play quite a bit with this lightsaber before unveiling your new sabering skills, so that using the control button will be second nature.Watch the video for a quick demo of the lightsaber in action, including the blaster sound, the lockup mode, and a cycling through of the 11 colors. It does not, however, show all the various sound effects available.

    I got this saber listed on sale. For the price I paid I am generally pleased. The hilt is attractive enough for a budget saber. All the advertised features are there. Overall, not bad.
