This is a great blaster for smaller kids (probably 7-10, although the package says 12+) since it is more their size and what would normally be cons (noise and slower impact speeds) would be consider funner and safer. If you are looking for a teen or adult I'd consider one that shoots closer to 15 rounds per second and could shoot at closer to 80 feet. Also if you're new to these make sure you soak your ammo overnight, it's tempting to try it earlier since they will look big enough, but the extra time really makes a difference.

As a father, I am always looking for new ways to have fun with my son, be it camping, riding bikes, or having wars with our dart guns. Recently he started begging me for a gel blaster, which was a completely new concept to me. I mean, I remember squirt guns that shot invisible ink and paint when I was growing up, but I've not seen any that shot gel. Then I saw what he was talking about. Ahh yes, those pesky little dehydrated gel orbies that get everywhere. But.....this could be really fun. Enter the Electric Gel Blaster. This amazing gun of fun blew me away, right out of the box. While I expected it to be much bigger than it is, I was incredibly impressed at both the quality of the gun itself, the accessories, and the sheer amount of gel ammo that comes with this set.

My husband and 12 yr old son had a 'blast' with this. Easy to put together, battery lasts a long time, beads are easy to come by. We like that it doesn't look real, I know this might be a turn off for some people but even from far away this doesn't look like something that will hurt people., deff not robbing any convince stores with this toy gun.. It is easy enough for my 12 yr old to put together, and put in the beads etc. I do like that the beads seem to break down over time also, I was worried I'd have these all over the yard visibly. I did take off one star because this isn't super sturdy. I have no doubts that if this thing topples off a table or is dropped that something may break off. This thing isn't great at target practice, but if you wanna just shoot a bunch of things fast, its fun!

I like that it is rechargeable and came with a lot of ammunition. It's missing a screw on the bottom of the battery pack. It does shoot well and my son is having tons of fun with it.

Shoots very far , Also great size also comez with glasses , charger , and your own orbeez so you dont have to buy your own !

I say ok because the material does not seem to be very durable. My kiddo dropped it and it broke. So while I would say it is a fun toy. I can't give a positive review on the durability.

This is a good toy gun that shoots the gel bullets . Some small assembly is required and you have to soak the gel bullets in water for 4 hours and then you are ready to have fun. Pretty cool toy

This Orby’s gun is a lot of fun. My kids love it it stays charged for a good five hours before recharging the battery. It is a great gift idea and a great value for your money I do recommend.

Kids love it. So much fun to play. It does take the beads 4 hours to turn into gel balls. other than that it is a great way to spend an afternoon

I hadn't seen these splatter bead guns before and thought they were just some outlandish BB guns. It is outlandish, but it's pretty fun to play with. I can't say I would recommend them for shooting at people or for kids to shoot each other just because I have a personal fear of being hit with my mouth open or in my nose or ear. People who play airsoft with plastic BB guns typically take those risks and do fine, but since this is aimed more at kids who can lack judgement on where to aim a gun and keep it away from people's faces... you may want to closely supervise them. In the hands of someone who is careful about aiming though, this is just a really fun little toy.

Living in Florida hot is an understatement… so having this water gel toy machine is so much fun and cooling at the same time when getting hit with the water beads. Soak beads a day before so they can be ready when you’re ready to have fun

The gun has a very cold sound effect when shooting, unfortunately the barrel broke off the first day =(
