Would’ve been a really awesome but unfortunately somehow I got 2 right sides to the mask instead of a right and left piece which goes over the eyes. My sons disappointed now because I have to return it

Very good experience, that is, logistics is a little slow. I was also satisfied with the customer service attitude. The most satisfactory thing is that the helmet is cool and responsive.

I didn't feel very sensitive when I first used it. After the store patiently answered, I found that the voice control speed should be slower. I tried it later. The function of the stereo is also very good.

So I grabbed one of these at Target to fill out my helmet collection. I was not expecting much as the comparable Optimus Prime helmet from a few years back is easily the worst of Hasbro’s helmet offerings from any of their lines, ?Marvel, Star Wars And Transformers.I was a bit worried when I opened the box. The helmet requires a lot of assembly. And most of the pieces seem a thin potentially fragile overly translucent sparkly yellow plastic. But after a few minutes with the instructions it became clear that the yellow parts were simply outer sheathing. The core helmet is a much sturdier gunmetal gray inner shell covered in details, and with some decent paint work on the face. The yellow panels snap onto and bulk up the inner core giving the overall helmet a nicely complex and detailed feel. Just one word of caution, snapping the panels in is an Adult only Task. Do not leave this to children as it can be a bit frustrating in places, and you don’t want to force or break the plastic tabs. Once assembled the only part that should come off is the ridge along the top of the head. The battery compartment is under it.The final effect is actually quite stunning. Much more so than I was expecting. The helmet is large enough for a big adult mail head. It has an adjustable plastic helmet strap inside.Visibility out of the eye lenses is very poor. The lenses are textured plus slightly fish eyed. If you are planning this as a full costume in public bring along a guide dog. You will be able to avoid bumping into people, but not much beyond that. This gets worse when the lighting effects are triggered. But damit! They look cool! So who needs vision.I’m quite impressed with the electronics. They are similar to the Marvel Legends Starlord Helmet. There are two buttons, each with multiple functions depending on length and sequence of presses. Oneseries of functions lights the eyes and plays a series of movie Bumblebee’esque radio clips. The other cool feature is the helmet is a Bluetooth speaker. So pair it to your music player of choice and let her rip. I recommend firing up Stan Bush’s The Touch first thing.Overall this turned out to be an unexpectedly fantastic helmet offering. Every single thing Hasbro got wrong on the Optimus Helmet, they got right here.I do have to mention this is mainly an adult collectible/cosplay prop. While incredibly fun, it does have some fragile details and probably will not long withstand the rough play of young children.

Best item so far in my geeky collection of geeky stuff. I didn’t know it was a Bluetooth speaker as well!! I bought it just to be cool on the shelf! It is huge, well made and very sturdy. It took a little while to put the pieces together, but once it was done. I LOVE it!!!!
